International Journal of Climate Change and Public Health
Evidence for population health in a changing climate

About the journal
The International Journal of Climate Change and Public Health (IJCCPH) publishes peer-reviewed research on how climate change affects population health worldwide, and on how public health systems, policies and communities respond.
The journal gives editorial priority to research from and about low- and middle-income countries, where exposure is highest and publishing outlets are fewest, while welcoming high-quality work from any region. It is published by the NextStep Social & Public Health Research Society.
Aims and scope
Quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, modelling and policy research are all in scope. Clinical and health service studies are welcome when a climate or environmental exposure is central to the question.

- Climate-sensitive infectious disease: Dengue, malaria, cholera, diarrhoeal and other vector-borne diseases.
- Climate and mental health: Disaster trauma, eco-anxiety and displacement distress.
- Maternal, child and adolescent health under climate stress: Including salinity and pregnancy outcomes.
